The short-term measures include wider gates, defined pathways for emergency services, multiple fan assembly areas, and ramps for easier access for people with disabilities. The state government has acknowledged RCB's concerns regarding safety, and a detailed order outlining the conditions and preparations required from KSCA is expected soon.

The IPL is scheduled to begin on March 26, but the BCCI has been holding off on announcing the schedule and fixtures due to the uncertainty surrounding Chinnaswamy. However, with the state government's approval, the ball is now in RCB's court to decide if they will return to their home venue.
