Navjot Kaur Sidhu's Scathing Attack on Rahul Gandhi: 'You Don't Deserve That Chair' (2026)

'You're Out of Touch': Navjot Kaur Sidhu's Scathing Critique of Rahul Gandhi's Leadership

In a bold move, former Congress leader Navjot Kaur Sidhu has unleashed a fierce critique of Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha. Sidhu's words paint a picture of a leader disconnected from the realities on the ground, failing to address internal corruption within the Punjab unit of the Congress party.

Speaking passionately in Coimbatore, Ms. Sidhu accused Gandhi of inaction, claiming it is 'killing Congress in Punjab.' She alleged that while Gandhi remains unaware, his inner circle is busy profiting from the sale of election tickets.

"Rahul Gandhi speaks well, with logic and sense. But his actions and words are worlds apart. For eight long months, I've sought an audience to tell him that his appointees in Punjab are doing the party no favors. They're destroying Congress in Punjab. I wanted to convey this in person, but instead, they've already sold the tickets," Ms. Sidhu said, her frustration palpable.

She continued, "If you're unaware of what's happening right under your nose, then it's time to step down. You don't deserve that leadership position. You're responsible for the party's decline in Punjab. We trusted you, and you promised us positions of power, but delivered nothing. You gave us local bodies and tourism, expecting us to run them according to the CM's wishes. How can you talk about fighting corruption when your own people are corrupt? And you seem to enjoy their company! Your associates are corrupt, and you have no time for honest people who want to tell you things are going wrong and that you won't win Punjab this way."

"Perhaps the leadership position was gifted to him. He hasn't worked his way up through the ranks to truly understand the struggles of those on the ground. Being grounded is crucial. What happens at ground zero is vital for any leader to know. You can't live in a dream world and expect to lead effectively," Ms. Sidhu emphasized.

"We've been honest our entire lives. We gained the trust of the people of Punjab and India by being honest, even if it meant financial struggles. You can point fingers at PM Modi, but try to find any corruption against him. There's nothing there. He's clean," she added.

And this is the part most people miss: Is Rahul Gandhi truly the leader Congress needs, or is he part of the problem? What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
